Twelve Days of Cookies

The presents have all been opened, and wrapping paper and ribbons still linger by the hearth.  Families and friends have gathered to share memories and make new ones as well.  Many amazing meals have been thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas season.  And the treats — oh the treats — the breads, the cakes, the cookies, the candies — we have truly feasted well.  Even the furry members of the family received a few treats today.

And while I can’t imagine even looking at another treat for at least a few days, that day will come, and I will be prepared.  Now so will you.

As you know, I only allowed myself to bake one batch of Christmas Cookies this year.  But that doesn’t mean that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy looking at all of the gluten-free cookie recipes that have been floating around the blogosphere!

Here’s a list of 12 cookie recipes that I salivated over, and a list that I’ll be returning to when I’m ready to bake some serious treats in 2011.  Give a few of these festive delights a try.  You may even find a new blog that you didn’t know about.

  3. Thank you so much for including two of my cookies (Peanut Butter Blossoms and Fudge Mint Brownies). I am delighted! May I ask you for a favor? I’m going to shut down my I Am Gluten Free blog in a few weeks. I’ve migrated all of my recipes, including the Peanut Butter Blossoms that you’ve listed in this post, to my new blog at Gluten Free Diva ( Would you change the I Am Gluten Free blog link for the Peanut Butter Blossoms to reflect the link at my new Gluten Free Diva blog? Here it is:

A Curious Girl in the Gluten-Free World

I'm a curious girl, wife, teacher, fitness fanatic, gluten-free foodie, high-raw vegan, and Mama Cat living in NYC. I've made the transition from baking and cooking gluten-free to creating raw vegan recipes that are naturally gluten free. My gluten intolerance opened up my diet to a whole new world of nutritious plant-based foods. While I'm not 100% vegan, it's my favorite way to eat, and making and sharing raw foods makes me giddy. Living in the City has its joys and challenges, and I enjoy sharing my experiences with you.
