Love this idea–can’t wait for the series!
Tips for a gluten free diner: check out the restaurant during off peak times, and speak with the manager. i.e. Cafe Express does not have a gluten free menu, but when speaking with the manager, they told me which salad dressing are gluten free, and what I should stay away from. They seem to always have at least one person in charge who know about gluten free and is available to help.
To improve my experience: Let them know up front that I need gluten free, always carry Triumph Dining Cards, and carry your own gluten free soy sauce.
Wonderful tips, Linda! I’m definitely going to share about Triumph in the series. Glad you’ve found them helpful too! And great idea to hit the restaurant during off peak times. I often done that without eating anything…just a reconnaissance trip!
