Monday Lovin’ Gluten-Free Cookbook Giveaway #3!

Welcome to week 3 of Monday Lovin’ Gluten-Free Cookbook Giveaway, an 8-week event designed to share the cookbook love. I’m hoping my excess of cookbooks will help those of you just starting out on your gluten-free journey or expand the libraries of those of you who have been doing this for a while.

I’m giving away one gluten-free cookbook every week to a lucky reader. Again, I’m not giving away these cookbooks because I don’t like them. I LOVE these books and these authors. These are amazing books by some of the most creative recipe developers I know. It’s just time to share the love!

This week I’m giving away two books! And both books are by the wildly talented Elana Amsterdam. The Gluten-Free Almond Flour Cookbook was crucial to me discovering my absolute favorite gluten-free flour and how to bake with it. It has recipes for breakfast, breads, crackers, desserts, entrees, and so much more.

Her second book, Gluten-Free Cupcakes, is filled with 50 recipes made with almond flour and coconut flour. Cupcakes, frostings, fillings, toppings, oh my!

Would you like to win a copy of one of these books? All you have to do is make a comment below to enter. You can leave up to 4 entries today by answering 2 dish questions and letting me know in separate comments that you shared the giveaway on Twitter (tagging @glutenfreecat) and “liked” Gluten-Free Cat’s Facebook page.

Giveaway Guidelines:

  • This giveaway is limited to U.S. residents 18 and older residing in the continental U.S.

No purchase is necessary.  Odds of winning are based on the number of entries.  The winners will be randomly chosen and will be contacted by email.  The winner will have 48 hours to respond.  If the winners do not respond, a new winner will be randomly chosen.

Readers, dish!

Here’s the answers to my dish questions!

1 – I would like to win one of Elana’s books because I am avidly trying to grow a home cake baking business. I get requests every month for gluten-free cakes, and while I have developed a recipe that works, I would like to know if it can be improved to better serve my clients.

2 – I would probably say the cupcake one!

3 – I have baked bread with almond flour, but have not ventured out into baking cake or cupcakes with almond flour.

I would love one of Elana’s books because while I do eat grains, I like to have alternatives that allow me to reduce my overall grain consumption. Almond flour and coconut flour are great for that purpose!

  9. Lily S. says:

I do bake with almond flour, mostly desserts. I have yet to try a grain free bread, but there are many recipes I would like to make. I like both almond meal and blanched almond flour, as I’m not too picky about texture.

A Curious Girl in the Gluten-Free World

I'm a curious girl, wife, teacher, fitness fanatic, gluten-free foodie, high-raw vegan, and Mama Cat living in NYC. I've made the transition from baking and cooking gluten-free to creating raw vegan recipes that are naturally gluten free. My gluten intolerance opened up my diet to a whole new world of nutritious plant-based foods. While I'm not 100% vegan, it's my favorite way to eat, and making and sharing raw foods makes me giddy. Living in the City has its joys and challenges, and I enjoy sharing my experiences with you.
