Monday Lovin’ Gluten-Free Cookbook Giveaway 7-8

This is the last week of Monday Lovin’ Gluten-Free Cookbook Giveaway! This 8 week, now shortened to 6 week event, was designed to help me clear my gluten-free bookshelf in preparation for my move to NYC and to share the cookbook love. You’ve helped me immensely! Now that most of our belongings are boxed up for storage or that shoebox apartment that we still need to find, it’s time to bring this event to a close.

This week I’m giving away two books that I had planned for weeks 7 and 8. And you’re going to want both of them!!

The Allergen-Free Baker’s Handbook by Cybele Pascal is a must have for anyone with food allergies. Cybele teaches readers how to bake without gluten, wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame. A gluten-free vegan’s dream!! From breakfast treats, cakes, cookies, and breads to pies, tarts, and other delicious baked goods, you’re sure to learn how to make your favorite treats allergen-free.

Gluten Free & Easy by Robyn Russell is filled with over 90 recipes that will tempt the beginner and the experienced gluten-free cook alike. The gorgeous pictures may fool you into thinking that these recipes are challenging to make, but each one has a simple list of ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions. Cheddar shortbread, smoked salmon and leek frittata, panzanella, chicken souvlaki with tzatziki are just a few examples that remind readers that gluten-free does not have to mean flavor-free. Just check out the index!

Would you like to win one of these books? All you have to do is answer one question to enter. Which book would you like to win and why?

You can leave up to 3 entries today by answering the above question and letting me know in separate comments that you shared the giveaway on Twitter (tagging @glutenfreecat) and “liked” Gluten-Free Cat’s Facebook page and shared this giveaway with your Facebook friends.

Definitely would go with The Allergen-Free Baker’s Handbook, because of the multiplying allergies I appear to be collecting. This book addresses all the ones I know about so far…and hope to ever have! I’d also like to try nut free recipes as I’m eating enough nuts that I might cause myself an allergy if I keep it up. I’ve become less and less of a ‘cook’ as the allergies increase…definitely need some spark. Okay, now how do I do the Twitter thing?!!!

  10. Pat R says:

I ‘liked’ your FB page and posted it to my FB page, telling people to check out your Gluten Free Cat FB page and your blog out.

A Curious Girl in the Gluten-Free World

I'm a curious girl, wife, teacher, fitness fanatic, gluten-free foodie, high-raw vegan, and Mama Cat living in NYC. I've made the transition from baking and cooking gluten-free to creating raw vegan recipes that are naturally gluten free. My gluten intolerance opened up my diet to a whole new world of nutritious plant-based foods. While I'm not 100% vegan, it's my favorite way to eat, and making and sharing raw foods makes me giddy. Living in the City has its joys and challenges, and I enjoy sharing my experiences with you.
